Freshman Representative

Every year, a few freshmen have the opportunity of becoming a fully integrated member of the executive board. Freshman representatives attend weekly e-board meetings, help publicize and run events, and have the chance to put on an event of their choice.

Previous freshman representatives have testified that the position helped them ease their transition into college. Being a “fresh rep” means that you are accepted into the JCBC community as well as the broader Asian Caucus and AHANA communities; ultimately holding this position will aide freshmen into becoming active members of the BC community. Many fresh reps go on to hold e-board positions. It is our hope that freshman representative use their experience as an e-board member as a stepping stone to other opportunities.
